Shuri is a superheroine who appears in Marvel Comics’ American comic novels. The character was created by Reginald Hudlin and John Romita Jr. and debuted in Black Panther vol. 4. Shuri is the princess of Wakanda, a fictitious African country.
She is T’Chaka’s daughter and the younger sister of T’Challa, the monarch of Wakanda and the Black Panther, an earned title and status granted to the nation’s preeminent chief.
Shuri is tested and proven suitable for the position of Black Panther while T’Challa recovers from combat wounds. She possesses all of the Black Panther’s heightened skills as a result of an ancient Wakandan ceremony, is a superb martial artist, has access to significant advanced technologies and wealth, and employs learned trans morphic talents.
